Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA) is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of its employees, members, volunteers, donors and other stakeholders. ACSA values the trust of those we work with, and of the public, and recognizes that maintaining this trust requires that we be transparent and accountable in how we treat the information that one chooses to share with us.

 

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have chosen to maintain a connection with many of our participants through virtual programs. As a result of physical distancing, non-essential services have moved to an online platform, including virtual programs that being provided to ensure community engagement and social inclusion were maintained. Staff are able to promote and offer these programs through various social media and networking platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and ZOOM. As an agency, we have done our due diligence by issuing passwords to safeguard your participation on these platforms. However, all online meetings have an inherent risk of privacy. While we have done everything we can to minimize such risk, it is important that each participant knows that ACSA has no control and takes no responsibility over any personal information that a participant shares online. Each participant should review the privacy policies of each meeting website/technology to ensure comfort before participating in any ACSA’s virtual program. Personal information is any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact a specific individual. This information can include an individual’s opinions or beliefs, as well as facts about, or related to, the individual.

 

By participating in these online meetings / programs, you agree that ACSA will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience incurred.
