Contract full time position (35 hours per week)

Contract Start date: October 4th, 2021; Contract End date: January 21st, 2022

Reports to: Program Director

Background

ACSA is a nonprofit, multi service agency addressing needs and empowering children, youth, newcomers, homeless, and otherwise underserved communities.  Our core programs include housing and outreach programs, food security programs, newcomer services, youth outreach and therapy programs, child and family programs, early years’ programs, and community engagement.

 

Summary of Job Functions

ACSA is seeking a motivated, knowledgeable social media savvy individual to further develop our social media presence, to support in content creation and in the development of outreach materials and resources.

 

Duties include:

  • Manage and update information on all media sites (Facebook, twitter, Instagram, tic toc)
  • Coordinate and administer the organization website
  • Develop relevant content for target populations
  • Create surveys and social media pages
  • Provide any necessary training, coaching and/or content creation support to department teams
  • Create data analysis and reports
  • Utilizing social media to develop and implement fundraising campaigns
  • Travel off site to events and workshops
  • Adhere to content specific material
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

 

  • Experience in working on various social media platforms (Facebook, twitter, Instagram, tic toc, etc.)
  • Experience in website development
  • Experience in content creation
  • Strong communication and soft skills
  • Experience collaborating with others
  • Ability to engage users on social media sites
  • Innovate, creative responsible thinker
  • Self-starter that takes initiative
  • Responsibility and time management skills
  • Reliable and flexible with scheduling
  • Up to date on social trends and tools
  • Photography and videography experience is an asset
  • Fluency in a second language is an asset
