Position Type: Contract 12 weeks, 30.5 hours a week (Monday-Saturday)

Pay rate: $14.00/hr

Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA) is a multi service not-for-profit agency located in Scarborough. We are looking for mature, energetic and knowledgeable individuals to fill 4 Summer Program Facilitator positions out of our Dorset Park Community Hub location.



  • Plan, supervise, implement and evaluate activities for 6-12 year olds.
  • Lead specialized activities in one or more of the following program areas: healthy eating, active living, sports, dance, art, theatre, social skills, games and/or creative challenges.
  • Complete administrative duties as directed.
  • Ensure activities are kept supplied and well organized.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of each program participant.
  • Keep a clean and organized room
  • Support and supervise participants
  • Report absences to Supervisor
  • Engage and lead participants in indoor and outdoor activities including games and sports
  • Apply first aid when necessary
  • Ensure children have a fulfilling experience
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisors.



  • Youth between 15-30 years old
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
  • Experience in developing and implementing programs which are sensitive to ethno-racial and cultural needs
  • Experience working with 6-12 years old
  • Skill in public speaking and group facilitation an asset
  • Knowledgeable in at least one program area (listed above).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A positive attitude with creative and dynamic leadership skills.
  • First Aid certification is mandatory
  • Second language an asset
  • Must be full time student planning to return to school in the fall
  • Currently enrolled in College or University preferred
  • Current police reference check is mandatory.
