Chester Le Community Corner

The Chester Le Mural is an exciting artistic creation along the Chester Le wall reflective of what is important to the community. A series of community consultations were held with residents of the Chester Le, from which the emerging Mural themes developed. There is a mural artist, a mural worker, and six Chester Le youths employed to work on the initiative. All are welcome to attend the mural unveiling and community celebration.

This 6-week healthy eating workshop provides participants with the knowledge needed to make sound nutritious choices for meal planning. The workshop participants will also use those nutrition tips to prepare healthy delicious meals.

This short workshop is designed to introduce you to what digital storytelling is, what makes a good digital story, and how to produce your own digital stories.

The workshop will be taking place at 201 Chester Le Blvd on the 2nd Floor from 10:00am-4:00pm

The Modern Batik Movement is an exciting art program for enthusiastic students who want to have fun creating art. All are welcome, beginners and experienced. Space is limited.

This arts based program will help youths explore different forms of expression and tackle topics such as race, culture, and identity. It is run in partnership with Arts Starts and the Zero Gun Violence Movement.
