Check It Out: A Child Development, Health & Well-being Screening for Children aged 4 and under

This workshop will be a great opportunity to learn about the different screenings available for your children and resources on where to get the screenings, as well as support if needed.We are partnering with a consultant from EarlyON to host the workshop and they will be talking about 12 areas of health and development.
These areas and screenings include:
  1. Access to a doctor, pediatrician or nurse. This includes information about what ages your child should be seeing a doctor for a regular checkup.
  2. Immunization. 
  3. Physical activity and health (how many minutes of physical activity your child needs every day).
  4. Sleep
  5. Eating and nutrition
  6. Dental and oral health
  7. Vision and eye health
  8. Access to government services
  9. Parenting information
  10. Social emotional development
  11. Communication and literacy

SAAAC: Child Development Talk in Tamil

We are excited to partner with SAAAC and host our 2nd Child Development Talk workshop in Tamil. 

This workshop will be hosted by Dr. Shiv Sivapalan, Family Physician with a special interest in child development, and Neshanth Shanmugalingam, Behaviour Therapist from SAAAC Autism Centre.
