| Seniors Programs
Creating networks between our seniors and our community services.
It is argued senior populations are one of the most underserved populations in most communities and subsequently at the highest risk of isolation. ACSA continues their mission to support community networking and socialization with the seniors of Agincourt. ACSA has created a number of different projects to best suit the needs of the community. Offering essential services to Chinese and Tamil seniors, participants can benefit from programs and services they need to keep active lifestyles within their community.
In 2008, ACSA hosted 108 sessions and 21 workshops to over 1000 seniors- it is our goal to create more sustainable networks between our senior population and community services.

Chinese Senior ESL (English as a Second Language) Program
This program engages Chinese Seniors in language lessons to enhance their English language skill. Overall, this program is very successful and enhances ACSA's commitment to supporting growth and development of skills for better engagement and partnership of all Agincourt's community members.
Agincourt Seniors Club - Every Friday
Held on Fridays, the Agincourt Seniors Club is open to all seniors regardless of cultural affiliation. This program provides more advanced ESL classes, health workshops and outings in the Toronto area. This program works from a social networking framework- providing information seniors identify as crucial to their needs and building relationships that may not have otherwise been created. ACSA encourages all of the seniors in our community to take part in this exciting workshop.
