| Parenting Project
The Parenting Project is dedicated to providing support and effective strategies to parents and caregivers living with challenging youth, with the goal of discovering ways to help their adolescent make a successful transition to productive adulthood.
Parents will develop strategies to help them:
- Sidestep arguments and conflicts at home
- Improve school attendance and performance
- Prevent, recognize or intervene in alcohol/drug use and/or gang activity
- Address threats of violence or running away
- Motivate and influence teens
The 8-week Parenting series allows parents and caregivers an opportunity to share and learn strategies for building on the strengths of their family.
Agincourt Community Services Association provides The Parenting Project services in Scarborough. Please contact the Parenting Specialist for more information.
