Not Far From The Tree is coming to the neighbourhood! This great community organization puts Toronto's fruit to good use by picking and sharing the bounty. Now they're expanding their fruit picking program to the Agincourt neighbourhood in partnership with Agincourt Community Services Association.

When a homeowner has a fruit tree on their property and can't keep up with the harvest, Not Far From The Tree organizes teams of volunteers to put the fruit to good use. The harvest is shared in thirds: 1/3 is offered to the homeowner, 1/3 is shared among the volunteers, and 1/3 is delivered by bicycle to food banks, shelters, and other community food programs in the neighbourhood.
